Introduction
Process and approve applications for the installation of block walls (partition), roof sloping (awning) and wall separators (partywall) in business premises such as shop houses / shop offices using the Equivalent Plan Book (Standard Plan).
This equivalent plan can be submitted by the owner/tenant to the Shah Alam City Council without having to obtain consultant services. Therefore, the owner / tenant is fully responsible for the additions / amendments made in terms of stability and robustness of the structures built. The owner only needs to select the type of add-on / amendment to be done and sign each copy that has been selected. Please be reminded that the Shah Alam City Council will not be held responsible for any claims, claims or actions resulting from the construction of the additional works / amendments.

How To Apply

Application forms must be downloaded on the MBSA website and must be filled in. Please proceed to the Building Department Counter, 8th Floor,Wisma MBSA for further information.

Furnish the plans with the following details:

Name of landlord / tenant: according to the name listed on the Sales & Purchase Agreement or Tenancy Agreement.

Address of the location
-
Identification card number.
- Landlord’s / tenant’s signature on every sheet of the form and sketch plan.

Handover the clearance receipts on the same day to the counter at Building Department as proof of payment.
