Funeral/Corpse Management

​​Introduction

The management of the burial of corpses managed by the Environmental Health Department of the Shah Alam City Council is as follows :- ​
a) Islam Cemetery at Seksyen 21, Shah Alam
b) Kristian & Hindu Cemetery ​ Seksyen 21 , Shah Alam
c) Islam Cemetery at ​Seksyen 31, Shah Alam


Terms and Condition​

  1. Burial hours are from 8am to 7pm every day including Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays.

  2. Funeral application through phone are made during office hours from 8.00 am to 4:30 pm. The funeral will be conducted after 3 hours of receiving the application.​​

  3. The review of the permit document will be done by the department staff and the full payment explanation must be made before the funeral is carried out.​

Payment

​*The original Death Register / Burial Permit (Blue Form) with payment must be explained and submitted to the gravedigger and the payment receipt will be submitted to the heirs by post according to the heir's address.​
