​Department Function

  1. ​​Implement the enforcement of laws and regulations. 
  2. Operation of a 24-hour Rapid Action Room to receive, monitor and provide early enforcement services for Municipal emergencies.
  3. Provide and giving rescue assistance services during disasters and flood.
  4. ​Controlling and taking care of the Council property.
  5. Manage the administrative affairs of the Enforcement Department​.
  6. ​Integrated enforcement in technical action (Task F​​orce)​
  7. Integrated enforcement of wrong parking on main city centre streets and area gazetted as Towing Zones.
  8. Integrated enforcement of wrong vehicles in parks and housing estates as well as heavy vehicles.
  9. Integrated enforcement and monitoring of public parks within the Council's Administrative Area.
  10. Monitoring and enforcement of public complaints.
  11. Inspections and enforcement of development and modification activities.

Client Charter

  1. Claims and withdrawals of confiscated items can be made after seven (7) working days ( for all Bylaws and Act Offenses except Cyber Centre​ and Cyber Cafe Bylaws).

  2. Towed car claims can be made immediately.

  3. Respond to complaints to the complainant within fourteen(14) working days..
