RECY​CLING USED COOKING OIL​

​Introduction​​

The used cooking oil recycling programme has been implemented in the Shah Alam City Council areas beginning in 2009. To further enhance its efforts to control pollution of public drains, the Council has provided used cooking oil collection bins specifically for the convenience of Shah Alam residents to dispose of used cooking oil in the following locations 

  1. Section 6 Recycling Center 
  2. Section 11 Recycling Center
  3. Section 17 Recycling Centre
  4. Section 25 Recycling Center 
  5. Section U8 Recycling Center 
The Council also provides delivery and collection services of bins for collecting used cooking oil for restaurants, canteens, food factories, hotels and others. The bins capacity is 60 liters, 200 liters and 1,000 liters. ​
