MBSA Hall Rental

 

1.Q :What categories of activities are suitable for renting MBSA halls?​
​A :The rental of MBSA halls is open for the purpose of holding events such as weddings, engagements, birthdays, seminars and meetings. For sports activities, tenants can participate in badminton, silat, dance, aerobics, yoga, taekwondo and other appropriate activities.​

 

2.Q :How to book a hall?
​A :Prospective tenants should come to the Reservation and Hall Management Counter at the Corporate & Community Development Department on Level G, Wisma MBSA and fill in the reservation form if there is a vacancy.​

 

3.Q :When should the payment be made?
​A :At least 3 months before the event date.

 
4.Q :What fees are charged?​
​A :
  1. Rent
  2. Extra charge for extra preparation/time
  3. Air conditioning (for air-conditioned halls)​

5.Q :What is the capacity of the hall?​
​A :

Each hall is different in size. Estimated capacity is between 250 to 350 people (seated) for a round table arrangement (estimated 25 to 30 round tables)​.

 

6.Q :What facilities are provided?​
​A :

Each hall is equipped with lights and fans. There is also a hall equipped with air conditioning.​

 

7.Q :Does MBSA provide chairs, tables, stage decorations and other facilities?​
​A :

No. The tenant must rent this equipment himself from another party.

 

8.Q :What is a security deposit?​
​A :

The security deposit is a deposit that will be returned to the tenant after the tenant makes a claim after the event is over. The deposit will be deducted if the hall is left in a dirty condition or if there is damage to the hall during the rental.

 

9.Q :When can the security deposit be claimed?​
​A :

The tenant must make a claim immediately, within 3 months after the ceremony. If the tenant makes a claim after 3 months of the event, the claim will not be processed.​

 

10.Q :How to claim return of collateral?
​A :

The tenant must make a claim immediately, within 3 months after the ceremony. If the tenant makes a claim after 3 months of the event, the claim will not be processed.​

 

11.Q :How long does the collateral return process take?​
​A :

The tenant will receive back the security deposit no later than 1 month after making a claim.

 

12.Q :Will the renter's money be refunded if the renter cancels the rental?​
​A :

The tenant will not receive a refund of the rental payment. MBSA will only return the collateral. The tenant needs to make a deposit return claim as usual.

 

13.Q :Do tenants need to obtain a special permit if they want to conduct a sale, talk, concert and other similar activities before using the hall?
A :

Yes. Organizers/tenants/users are responsible for obtaining permission from the Police and Relevant Authorities for these activities.​
