‘TOTAL QUALITY FAST TRACK MODEL ‘ –
TOWARDS RECOGNITION OF TQM SIRIM
Since the rebranding of its corporate statement on October 12, 2011, MBSA has taken the
initiative to enter the Total Quality Management (TQM) to be recognised by TQFTM from SIRIM
QAS INTERNATIONAL. Until May 2012, SIRIM has conducted a few audit sessions to see and
analyze gaps to make improvements towards TQFTM.
The Council, in collaboration with SIRIM Training Services Sdn. Bhd., organized the Introductory
Workshop to the Criteria of ‘Total Quality Fast Track Model (TQFTM) – Towards TQM SIRIM
Recognition. The implementation of this model is to help organizations, carried out in stages,
to enhance national competitiveness and to ensure the sustainability of the organization in the
future.
Total Quality Management is a management philosophy and organizational practice that aims
to make full use of human and material resources of an organization with the most effective way
to achieve organizational objectives.
