CONCLUSION
It is hoped that through the publication of the 6th Shah Alam Mayor First Anniversary
Album Volume 2 will provide additional information and details to be used as a reference
for annual programs in the Shah Alam City Council for the year 2012.
Alhamdulillah, after two (2) years in office as the Mayor of Shah Alam, I believe, with
a combination of skills and knowledge available to members of the MBSA Council, the
management and staff of MBSA will help me to continue to head the direction of MBSA of the
many challenges faced today. I always remind myself that this appointment is an honor and
trust that should be shouldered with responsibility.
During the two years it is hoped that I was able to bridge the gap between the government
and the society, enhance service delivery to achieve the vision, mission and aspirations of the
Council and the State Government; strengthen the cooperation and communication networks
with the local residents, and thus provides services that are more efficient and effective for the
benefit of society. There has also been an improvement of living standards and the development
of latest technology, which has increased the awareness among the citizens of Shah Alam
as taxpayers, or stake-holders who have always wanted and needed the best and consisitent
services from the Local Authorities.
I am sure, if this excellent achievement can be maintained, then MBSA will appear as a
distinguished LA in Selangor and Malaysia.
